Athletic Lottery
Welcome to the Leeward Athletic Lottery!
We are thrilled to announce our exciting new sports tournament, where you can showcase your athletic skills and have a chance to win amazing prizes.
The Leeward Athletic Lottery is a fun and inclusive event designed to encourage physical activity and friendly competition among students. By completing simple but challenging sports activities and submitting your videos, you can enter a lottery for a chance to win. At the end of each month from August to November, a participant will be chosen to win a prize.
How It Works
Choose Your Challenge:
PUSH-UPS: Film yourself doing 20 push-ups in a row.
BASKETBALL: Film yourself hitting successively 3 three-pointers in basketball.
JUMP ROPE: Film yourself doing 30 continuous jumps.
SOCCER: Film yourself performing 10 continuous keepy-uppies (juggling the soccer ball with your feet).
PLANK: Film yourself holding a plank position for 1 minute.
RUNNING: Film yourself doing a 45-second high knee run in place or running a mile.
TENNIS/PICKLE BALL: Film yourself winning 3 points against a friend.
YOGA: Film yourself holding three different poses.
DANCE: Film yourself doing a minute dance routine.
HULA HOOP: Film yourself hula hooping for a minute without stopping.
BASEBALL: Film yourself hitting 5 consecutive baseballs off a tee.
RULES
VIDEO SUBMISSION:
Ensure your video is uncut and clearly shows you completing the activity.
Submit your video before each draws.
ENTERING THE LOTTERY:
Once we receive your video, you will be entered into a lottery with other students who have completed the challenges.
Each valid submission equals one entry into the lottery. You can submit multiple athletic challenges.
WINNING PRIZES:
We will randomly draw winners from the pool of entries.
Prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners during our lottery draw.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
Submit your videos before the draws to be eligible.
LOTTERY DRAWS:
Draws will take place at the end of each month from August to November
REGISTER TO LEEWARD:
To win the prizes you have to make sure that you are registered in at least one credit at Leeward in Fall 2024.
